Center of excellence, a reference in chess and access to sport.

For over 25 years, CEX has been a non-profit institution dedicated to promoting chess as a tool for intellectual, educational, sporting and social development.

We train players, qualify teachers, run events and support projects that bring chess to schools, cities and communities.

To promote intellectual and social development through chess and mind games, stimulating education, research and innovation for the formation of critical citizens.

  1. Educacional

    Xadrez nas escolas de Pontal

    Uma iniciativa que leva o xadrez para o ambiente escolar em Pontal do Paraná, aproximando estudantes e professores de uma prática que desenvolve raciocínio lógico, concentração, estratégia e convivência. Desde 2021, o projeto capacita professores da rede municipal, com atenção especial ao potencial do xadrez como ferramenta pedagógica inclusiva para estudantes com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA).

Over 25 years promoting chess.

CEX was born to strengthen chess as a sporting, educational and cultural practice. Throughout its trajectory, it has built partnerships, organized events, trained players, qualified teachers and helped broaden access to the game in different contexts.

The story of CEX is also the story of people who believe chess teaches far beyond the rules: strategic thinking, patience, discipline, respect and decision-making.
